We have one more week of classes this May, with four exciting events still to come before we wrap up the year.
TODAY, Monday, May 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm stop by the Global Commons (Williams Hall) to pick up a copy of this year’s Lehigh Review and celebrate with the undergraduate artists, authors, and editors who put it together–as well as with our own Laura Kremmel and Kyle Brett, who acted as advisors and guides.
Wednesday, May 4, join the rest of the department to celebrate the achievements of this academic year and to listen to Matt Chelf’s thesis presentation. We meet at 4:10 pm in the Humanities Center.
Then, on Thursday, May 5, Belinda Peterson will be giving her dissertation defense (title above), at 4 pm, also in the Humanities Center.
Finally, the Williams Prize Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 9, at 2:00 pm in the Global Commons (Williams Hall). Support our wonderful undergraduate student writers!
A few final dates to know:
Grades are due Saturday, May 21, at 8:00 am (online).
The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony is Sunday, May 22, at 2:00 pm in Baker Hall.
The 148th Spring Commencement will be on Monday, May 23.
Good luck to everyone as we grade, write seminar papers, and wrap up the 2015-2016 year!
